Eat at a Nation!

I went for an amazing brunch at Kalmar Nation today for just 50SEK I had enough food to last me for the day including everything from eggs and bacon to waffles, soup, and even dessert! It was an amazing spread and the fact that it was super-duper cheap was a sublime cherry on top!

The awesome brunch today! What you can't see is the yummy waffle!

P.S. It's a buffet so you can go back for more (noooo, this is not my second plate, are you crazy?)

This is not the first time I have eaten at a nation and I must say whenever I have it has been good value for money with a nice atmosphere to boot.

Now there are tons of opportunities to go out and eat at a nation (for brunch or lunch) and as far as I know you can eat at a nation even if you don't have a nation card (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) because the nation cards are actually linked to alcohol. So you will need to have a card for dinner or a pub!

Lunch at Lunds Nation

Dinner at Krischan Nation

One of the most difficult things for me is that I can never find a place that has a list of when and where all the nations serve their meals. It is always one list here and another list there so I am going to attempt to make a coherent list with all the weekly food options. If you want more details of prices (for food it's generally between 35-50 SEK except for sittning which are like 150SEK) or the types of food (there is generally always a vegetarian option) that available have a look at the website of the specific nation. Some of the websites are quite crappy and finding information can be difficult but some are pretty awesome!

I must admit that this was a bit of a selfish entry because I really wanted to put all of the events into one concise document but I hope that this is of some use to you fellow Lundinites!!

Happy eating! And keep me informed at the best places to go!!!

* Food is available at Pubs
* You can book sittnings
* No food at clubs but good info to have nonetheless
